So we have come out with these topic sentences.
1. The government should impose a law regarding the cleanliness of our beaches to avoid material waste from reaching the sea that would endanger marine life.
2. Next, preserving our sea would lower the risk of contracting diseases cause by polluted marine life(fish).
3. Other than that, quality of marine food source can be sustain through the preservation of seas.
Reflection
The activity was really fun because we are competing with other groups to be the fastest one to find the words in the newspapers even though there were no prizes for the fastest team :D Although it was hard to find a specific word in a newspaper. It was like trying to find salt in a bottle of sugar and the because this was outside the classroom activity, so it was really hot. After getting all the words, we have to come out with topic sentences. What I've learned was, we must have the connectors to do the topic sentences and also the word choices are very important.
